About the Role
As a Staff Sustaining Firmware Technical Program Manager, you will be working with a group of talented engineers to manage and coordinate the delivery of the SW and FW for server solutions. This role will focus on all aspects of software program management, ranging from planning and scheduling of software/firmware execution, validation, release, and update.
What You will Do
- Work with an experienced team of engineers within ZT and with partners to drive the development of an array of SW/FW deliverables
- Coordinate plan for implantation releases and bug fixes and track the Best-Known Configuration “BKC” status.
- Be responsible for program management activities that integrate various SW and FW components into customer platforms
- Organize multiple SW workstreams, track the development progress, and communicate status to management and customer
- Communicate with precision and clarity to drive alignment internally and with partners/customers
What You Bring
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager or with 3+ years with a Masters of experience working in Firmware or Software development
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure
- Knowledge of building low-level software to run on hardware, e.g., firmware, BIOS, etc.
- Experience in management of cross-disciplinary Data center hardware/software projects with an understanding of product development stages
- Familiarity with firmware development for high performance processors and ASICs
