About The Role

The Procurement Senior Analyst position will be responsible for assigned commodities/components inventory, demand forecasts, communication with vendors, manufacturing and with customers, excess & obsolete inventory management, ensuring continuous supply availability to production. The Procurement Senior Analyst’s function is to support manufacturing with the optimal inventory levels as well as ensure continuity of supply and minimize any interruption to production at the lowest costs possible.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Strong working knowledge of analyzing, sustaining and optimizing inventory levels with customer demand, minimizing excess and aging inventory
  • Responsible for reaching out to new and existing suppliers for quotes, orders and any other supplier related questions/issues
  • Create purchase orders and all activity associated from quote to invoice
  • Work closely with warehouse and accounting personnel to avoid any inventory and invoice discrepancies
  • Communication with internal stakeholders for escalations
  • Work within identified KPIs such as past due purchase orders, purchase order accuracy, shortage and excess percentages
  • Analyze monthly spend and reports to manager
  • Identify and implement process improvements with manager to increase efficiency and accuracy within roles and responsibility parameters

 

What You bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study
  • 2+ years of experience in a buying or purchasing function with Supply Chain background (Computer Manufacturing or Electronic Manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills within Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; being proactive, positive, deliberate, and focused
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Experience with Tableau (preferred but not required)
  • SAP Experience (preferred but not required)
