Solutions Featuring New Intel® Solid-State Drive Data Center Family

ZT Systems collaborated with leading hyperscale customers to design purpose-built platforms featuring the Intel® Solid-State Drive Data Center Family for PCIe. Taking advantage of Intel’s high performance controller interface, NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory express,) these new PCIe Gen3 SSDs were shown to deliver low latency and consistent Quality of Service. ZT’s proof-of-concept solutions incorporating these drives demonstrated exceptional performance with world-class reliability and endurance under infrastructure-level compute and storage workloads.

ZT Systems designs platforms to meet individual hyperscale customer requirements. Enhancing flexibility for platform design, the Intel® Solid-State Drive Data Center Family for PCIe is available in both Add-In card and 2.5-inch form factors and in capacities ranging from 400GB to 2TB. With PCIe Gen3 support and NVMe queuing interface, these drives deliver excellent sequential read performance of up to 2.8GB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 2.0GB/s. Very high random read IOPS of 460K, and random write IOPS of up to 175K for 4KB operations, make these drives ideal for inclusion in ZT solutions designed for webscale content delivery and storage applications.

The P3700 Series also includes High Endurance Technology (HET), which combines NAND silicon enhancements and SSD NAND management techniques to extend SSD write endurance up to 10 drive writes per day for 5 years.
